I often find myself annoyed at the fact that I'm so affected by hunger. I get very hungry very quickly and when I reach this state I lose all ability to think or focus. This reminds me of Josiah's hatred of being reminded of his corporeal nature, though I don't hate being physical per se, rather just dislike it when the limitations included in that make me feel impotent or make me lose time I could otherwise have spent doing something fruitful. In short, maybe I should start bringing a bag of food with me everywhere so I can maintain focus during periods of inspiration.[ 1 comment ] ( 17 views ) | permalink |

I didn't realize how far I'd let my coffee addiction run away lately. I mean, when I worked at Epic I would drink many cups of free, very strong Ancora coffee every day but at that point I was still able to just not drink coffee for a day and not feel too terrible. Yesterday I had only a cup of tea until about 6pm when I noticed that my head felt like it was going to explode. Ugh. Well, I just read that one of my current favorite bands Behold... The Arctopus has announced a U.S. summer tour which includes a stop at the High Noon Saloon in Madison and in Minneapolis as well. Ugh. Maybe I should go back to the States for the summer after all...[ add comment ] | permalink |
